Beautiful Piha!
Back in Auckland, lots of pictures…but i left my heart on the beach…The sand is black and soft like baby powder. It sucks in every step like mud but without the sticky part!
The walk to Piha took about 6h. The first 2 were a bit brutal, hicking up almost climbing but completely worth it in the end! The weather was amazing, mostly sunshine and 19-20. The house didn’t feel like a hostel but more like a luxurious cabin. The company, je vais rester polie, did not turn out to be the best mais c’est pas surprenant. Let’s just say that we went our separate way and I hitchhiked back alone. Thanks to Tez for the ride!
