Day 36

A little bit of a redo…today, I went to rainbow falls! I think it’s a beautiful place and I wanted to walk it again. Last time, when I got to the stone store it was closed. So, I had to go back!

I’ve been relaxing a lot, working 2-3 hours in the morning. I picked some mandarins again yesterday and I feed the chickens, take them out, take them back in, walk the pigs and the sheep(fluffy), take care of the dogs, as everybody else!…

I will be staying here for another 10 days and in that time I will go to Paihia, Russell and Cape Reigna. After that I’m off to Whangarei for one day, couple hours of surf and a nice walk in a forest before heading to Auckland. Or I should say Piha!

This morning, I made some muffins.

Like Kristin says: “Delicious!”

Gluten free, dairy free, yeast free…but chocolaty!

Day 32

Day 30

The SUN is out!! Finally! Today was a beautiful, hot 20 degrees(which feels more like 27-28 here). Yesterday also was a hot sunny day. I got to pick the mandarins! Lots of fun. Made new friend and enjoyed the beautiful property. I went to town but quickly for groceries. I’ll go back to explore and take pictures. Have to fix the bike first, the ride was a bit scary with one brake missing…!

Having a great time at relax-a-lodge, thanks Tameka, Tim, Claes and Inga!

Day 28

Pretty good day! The morning was hard and the road was windy but the views were beautiful! It was raining most of the day but the sun came out just in time for my duty. I love doing some manual work, even taking old nails out of wood planks! Maybe I’ll get to feed the chickens tomorrow or pick some mandarins…!?!

Just chilling by the fireplace…good night!
